Professional Statement: I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and have worked in a range of community mental health, child guidance clinic and forensic settings. From 1989-1994 I served as Clinical Director of St. Francis Homes for Boys, where I also served as the Site Training Director for Widener University's clinical psychology internship program. At this time, I am in full-time independent practice in Philadelphia and Newark, Delaware. My research interests are in the areas of social influence, religious/political extremism, hypnosis, psychotherapy process and outcome, trauma, and addictions.

Practice Description: I have a general practice working with individuals and families, and many of my clients are stuggling with trauma-related issues and/or addictive disorders. In addition to a psychodynamically-informed interpersonal/integrative approach, I utilize clinical hypnosis and EMDR.

Office Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, in Philadelphia. Thursdays and Fridays, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, in Newark, Delaware.

Other Practice Information: I also conduct forensic and diagnostic psychological evaluations in both civil (e.g., child custody, malpractice) and criminal cases.
